Home > News And Events > Conference 2008VALUING LITERACY - FROM BRAILLE TO EMAIL Technological difficulties beyond the Association's control hindered our intentions to stream this year's Conference. Our apologies to all who were therefore unable to listen in as planned. On Saturday evening during the Conference Dinner, Gisborne Branch was awarded the John McDonald Trophy. The Association also made a presentation to Mary Schnackenberg in recognition of her achievements at both a personal level and whilst an employee of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind. The Extra Touch Award and Johnston Trophy for Leadership were not awarded this year.
