This section of ABC NZ's website contains information about the main issues that blind and vision impaired people face every day, and ABC NZ's fact sheets, position papers, petitions, and submissions on these issues.

Issues

To gain an understanding of what blind and vision impaired people consider are the main issues inhibiting full participation in New Zealand society, read our report published July 2003, As We See It: Accessing New Zealand Via Non-Visual Means. Advocacy

Blind and vision impaired people advocate through ABC NZ on a wide range of issues inhibiting our participation in significant aspects of New Zealand society.
